Local Elections are scheduled for Thursday 1 May 2025 to elect 24 Town Councillors for Chippenham Town Council and now's your chance to have a say on the future of our town by standing for election in this important role.
What do Chippenham Town Councillors do?
Councillors represent residents in important decisions such as setting the budget for the Town Council’s services and facilities, awarding grants, adopting policies or providing comments on planning applications.
Being a Councillor is an opportunity to engage with the community, make a difference for residents and work to improve the quality of town life for all.
Why does it matter?
Whether you’re considering standing for election or wanting to cast your vote, this is your opportunity to be part of the decision-making process.
