The Chippenham Folk Festival 2025

One of the biggest events in our town returns this Spring Bank Holiday Weekend (Friday 23 - Monday 26 May) as the 52nd Chippenham Folk Festival returns for a unique in-town festival.

The town will be filled with music, dance and entertainment with over 600 performers and 13 stages at numerous locations.

The popular free Island Park community stages are back located alongside the beautiful River Avon.

Included in the long weekend line-up are, The East Pointers, Phil Beer & Paul Downes, Miranda Sykes and Seth Lakeman, Banter with Fee Lock, Sawney White Bird, Doug Eunson & Sarah Matthews, Portmanteau, Hinny & Joe Wass with callers Andrew Swaine, Bernie Culkin, Geoff Cubitt, John Stewart and Susanna Diamond.

The organiser are encouraging people to make use of public transport to get the festival. Chippenham is serviced by the Great Western Railway with trains at least twice hourly from London and Bristol. Chippenham station is very close to the festival and town centre. There is also a National Express stop with coaches coming from various locations, as well as having an extensive local bus service.
